Payment realization against irrevocable documentary letters of credit requires strict non-discrepant presentation of the following 6 core bank-conforming instruments:
1. Commercial Invoices (3 Originals + 3 Copies)
Issued by Seller indicating exact contract specification, unit price, Net Outturn Metric Tons, total contract value, and corresponding DLC / SPA reference numbers.
2. Full Set 3/3 Clean on Board Ocean Bills of Lading
Consigned to order of the issuing prime bank, notify buyer, marked "Freight Prepaid" as per charter party, verifying laden cargo on board nominated vessel.
3. Independent Assay Certificate of Quality & Quantity (SGS / Saybolt)
Original certificates issued at loading berth confirming chemical composition, moisture/sulfur limits, and calibrated shore tank/ullage quantity.
4. Certificate of Non-Preferential Origin (Chamber of Commerce)
Attested by the authorized Chamber of Commerce of the exporting origin verifying non-sanctioned sovereign jurisdiction in compliance with OFAC rules.
5. 110% Marine Cargo Insurance Certificate (All Risks)
Institute Cargo Clauses (A) covering 110% of CIF invoice value from loading port through discharge terminal, including Institute War Clauses and Strikes.
6. Tank Cleanliness Certificate & Vessel Ullage Report
Independent marine surveyor certificate validating tank dryness and cleanliness prior to loading, alongside joint Ullage / Draft Survey reports.
